Tipp senden

If you have a story tip, policy development, or public-interest lead relevant to Sweden, we welcome your submission. Our editorial team at Wochenbriefing.de reviews every tip to ensure accurate and fair coverage.

Who is responsible for handling tips and what is our ownership structure?

Wochenbriefing.de is owned and operated by Wochenbriefi Media Ltd., a private company registered in Gibraltar (company number C 92009, Malta Business Registry). Editorial responsibility rests with Chefredaktör Benjamin Richter, who oversees all publication decisions, corrections, and tip handling.

Our registered office is Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000. For general editorial questions you can reach Anders Lindqvist (anders.lindqvist@wochenbriefing.de, +46 8 525 030 61). Full ownership and funding information is available at /ownership-funding/. Our team is listed under /our-team/.

What makes a good tip for Wochenbriefing.de?

We seek tips on policy developments, public-interest stories, riksdagen and regeringen actions, municipal politics, wirtschaft news, economy, culture, and society with Swedish relevance. Substantiated, timely, and non-partisan leads are most valuable.

Examples include legislative proposals, government agency decisions, corporate developments affecting Swedish consumers, cultural events with national significance, and investigative leads that expose systemic issues. We do not accept anonymous rumours or unsolicited commercial material. Good tips are specific, verifiable, and clearly explained in context.

How can you reach us with a tip?

Send your tip to tips@wochenbriefing.de, or for urgent breaking news use newsdesk@wochenbriefing.de. Press inquiries should go to press@wochenbriefing.de. Our general editorial contact is info@wochenbriefing.de.

All function emails are at @wochenbriefing.de. You can also use our Contact page for other queries. If you prefer encrypted communication, please note we do not currently accept tips via encrypted channels; confidentiality as described below applies to all email submissions.

What information should you include in a tip?

Include a clear summary of the story, relevant documents or sources, your contact details (if you wish), and any background that helps us assess timeliness and significance. Verifiable information is essential.

If you have documents, attach them as PDFs or provide links. Explain why the story matters to Swedish readers. If you wish to remain anonymous, state that explicitly and we will handle your tip accordingly. Do not send confidential information without prior agreement.

How do we verify tips and ensure accuracy?

Our fact-checking desk, led by Ansvarig för faktagranskning Vanessa Engels, systematically verifies each tip using multiple sources and our published standards. No story is published without human editorial approval.

We follow the processes set out in our fact-checking policy and sources and standards page. Our team cross-references official records, interviews, and documentation. AI-assisted tools may support research but never replace human verification.

Is my tip treated confidentially?

We treat all tip submissions as confidential and will not disclose your identity or information without your explicit consent, unless required by law. Our editorial policy commits to protecting sources.

If you wish to remain anonymous, please tell us in your first email. We do not sell or share tip data. Our privacy policy at /about-us/privacy-policy/ explains how we handle personal data. For sensitive stories, we can arrange further safeguards on request.

What happens after you submit a tip?

Our newsroom reviews each submission. If it fits our editorial mission, we assign a reporter to investigate. You will receive a confirmation of receipt, but if the tip is not pursued you may not hear further. We aim to respond within two business days.

If we decide to pursue the story, we will contact you for additional information if needed. We may not share our publication timeline. All tips are assessed against our editorial priorities and capacity.

How can I request a correction to a published article?

If you believe an article contains an error, please email corrections@wochenbriefing.de with the article URL, the alleged error, and supporting evidence. Our corrections policy at /corrections-policy/ outlines our process and commitment to accuracy.

Corrections are reviewed by Chefredaktör Benjamin Richter or his delegate. We will correct factual errors promptly and note the change in the article. For complaints about editorial conduct, see our /complaints-procedure/.

Our commitments

  • We commit to publishing corrections promptly and transparently within 48 hours of confirmation of error.
  • We commit to fully disclosing our ownership and funding structure at /ownership-funding/.
  • We commit to human editorial oversight of all content; AI tools never replace journalistic judgement.
